Wow! A Synagogue With Style! → core77.com

blackberryjewsqueeze:

This is so interesting. Please take a look. It’s the most modern synagogue I’ve ever seen. It’s like the Ace Hotel, if they designed a Temple.

Frank Darabont Steps Down As 'Walking Dead' Showrunner → deadline.com

danhacker:

Deadline is reporting that ‘Walking Dead’ writer/executive producer/director Frank Darabont is reportedly off the show completely. No further details are currently available but one thing is for sure if this news is true this does not bode well for the future of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’.

This just leaves me all different colors of confused.

“Metal band Goblin Cock have a song entitled “Ode to Billy Jack” on their 2009 album Come With Me if You Want to Live, which is a tribute to him.” —

Wikipedia on Billy Jack’s pop culture references.  (via natashavc)

Fun fact! I went to see Goblin Cock when I was an intern at Absolutely Kosher.

Fun fact 2! While working the merch desk absolutely no one came up to buy cd’s or t-shirts or anything.

5 Things I Will Force My Children To Love

Hero Quest

Sure it’s a watered down version of Dungeons and Dragons. But even my stupid, lumbering athletic son (who won’t have name because I don’t want to get attached) will be excited that there’s a stupid, lumbering barbarian in the game. I guarantee my kids will inherit my math deficiencies, so this will be the perfect gateway drug to a lifelong passion for telling stories about elves and shit.

Runner Up: ZZT

Previously: Calvin and Hobbes, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

YES YES YES a thousand times yes. i thought i was the only one!!!!
